"Rainbows and Browns" an Exquisite Raku pottery piece created by artist Damian Ross.  The size of the piece is height 7.5" and the width is 9".  Please do no expose to outdoors, or fill with water or food items. These are displayed beautifully with Peacock, Pheasant tail, or Turkey.  Raku pottery is fragile. Please handle with loving care!

Damian Ross has been doing ceramics over 30 years and teaching Ceramics at the college level for 12 + years. Damian teaches Fly fishing at the Claremont Colleges, Claremont, CA, and has done so for 15 yrs.

From Damian's website: "The forms I build are organic and abstract. I get many of my ideas from objects I have collected in the tide line of the Pacific Ocean. The natural world inspires and stimulates me. An object’s shape, color or texture may attract me. I often find myself investigating to find out what the things I have actually are. Using objects found on my outings increases the relevance and power of my work for me. I create work that can mimic nature, and is really more evocative than representational. Exploring the tidal zone excites me, and so does interpreting some of these ideas in clay".
