Pond Boys was voted the greatest photo in DinoMights 20 year history.  It beat out 63 other worthy memories and stories.  This photo was taken by Richard Westley Wong at the first annual U.S. Pond Hockey Championships.  It shows the iconic image of boys with sticks on their shoulders, but these aren't the kids you'd expect.  They break the sterotype with their diversity, and that's a huge part of what makes "hockey in the hood" special!
