Burnsville Open-Mouthed Over New Burger Jones

A single Burger Jones only whet the cities' appetite, so Parasole served up another - open May 9, 2011 in Burnsville.

"Maybe it was the lines out the door for the first Burger Jones. Or the pilots who landed their plane on Lake Calhoun to have lunch there. But it didn't take long to realize we had a hit on our hands," said Dennis Monroe, president and CEO of Parasole Restaurant Holdings.

The new Burger Jones occupies a prime location on W. County Road 42, in the heart of the Twin Cities' south suburbs. Along with a dining room and outdoor patio, the restaurant features a large bar, take-out, and great options for group dining. Classy neighborhood, cheezy restaurant:
Mozza Mia opens in downtown Edina.

Wood-fired pizza. Homemade mozzarella (plus fresh ricotta, burrata and Italian smoked buffala mozzarella). What more could a family neighborhood ask for - besides a full bar, beer, wine by the bottle and glass-and-a-half, and homemade limoncello, steeping in the basement like Nana's hootch?

Nestled among downtown Edina's chic boutiques (sorry about the pizza smell, Priscilla of Boston), Mozza Mia opens nightly at 4 p.m. The menu features several unique, white oak and cherrywood-fired thin-crust pizzas, mozzarella made daily on the premises, a few salads (including a nice panzanella and refreshing Sicilian salad, redolent of orange and fennel), along with fresh-made bruschetta on grilled sourdough, a two baked pastas, and a few well-chosen desserts.

Like its sister restaurants, Mozza Mia accepts and issues Parasole Gift Cards and is a member of the Parasole Dining Club. Drop by for a quick bite or make an evening of it. Mozza Mia happily accepts reservations.
