The heart of the Jewish People - Am Yisrael - is in Jerusalem. The students painted the city of Jerusalem with their own color and feeling, each child choosing to paint a house or a tree. In the background of Jerusalem we put a Chamsa inscribed with the blessing of the house.

The blessing of the house is a reference to the Holy Temple - Beit Hamikdash, our people’s home and the home of Hashem. Every Jewish home acts as a mini Beit Hamikdash.
