After leaving school one year early, Jewell Loyd won WNBA Rookie of the Year in 2015 by leading all first-year players with 10.7 points per game. In her final season at Notre Dame, Loyd was named to the AP All-American first team and a finalist for the John R. Wooden Award. She finished second in media voting behind now-Storm teammate Breanna Stewart for 2014-15 AP National Player of the Year.
