Gau with Earth from Ayu Khandro's Cave

Ayu Khandro Dorje Paldrön (1839-1953) was a great master who was considered to have realized the practice of the dakini Vajrayogini. She was a disciple of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo and spent over fifty years in dark retreat. Chögyal Namkhai Norbu received teachings from her in 1951. 

The gau comes with a small plastic bag of earth from Ayu Khandro's meditation cave.

A gau is a small container worn as jewelry/jewellery and containing an amulet or similar item. This gau, which can be opened and secured using an attached screw, is adorned with an image of a small double vajra and turquoise-colored stone.
