One Year Household Museum Membership

The Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of design- also known as the RISD Museum- is the state's largest leading museum of art & design. Founded in 1877 as part of the Rhode Island Scgool of design (RISD), the Museum houses about 100,000 objects- ranging from ancient art to new work by contemporary artists from across the globe. Highlights include Impressionist paintings, 20th and 21st century design, Gorham Silver, Newport Furniture, an ancient Egyptian Mummy, and a 12th century Buddha- the largest historic Japanese wooden sculpture in the United States. The RISD museum presents special exhibitions throughout the year, along with public programs and events for all ages.
