Two (2) Chess Basic and/or Advanced Strategy Lessons with Julio Maldonado, USCF Certified Chess Instructor
Julio Maldonado is a leading chess instructor for National Educational Chess Association. Julio has been teaching chess in curriculum-based and enrichment programs for over 10 years. Julio is also a tournament director. He is very organized and has wonderful ideas which contribute to tournaments held by National Educational Chess Association.
Julio is an active tournament player. In 1986, while serving in the United States Army in Germany, Julio finished the tournament in the top 10. He has had a lot of experience playing against opponents of different levels.
Julio teaches in various schools in Lower Fairfield County such as; Darien, Stamford, New Canaan. Julio is also a leading coach at Branchville Elementary School in Ridgefield, Connecticut and a few schools in Wilton, Connecticut.
Julio says, "I believe chess has a developmental impact on children. The game of chess encourages them to create strategy, exercise their mind, and interact with other individuals sharing the same talent."

You will be notified by e-mail if you are the winning bidder. If shipment of your item is required, shipping charges will apply and will be billed to your account. Local residents may make arrangements for pick-up between November 16, 2016-December 1, 2016.
- Your bid on an item is a binding agreement to pay the school for the services/ items offered.
- Unless otherwise noted, the deadline on claiming services will be November 13, 2017. After this date all right and entitlement to the item or service are cancelled.
- Items may not be returned or exchanged.
- BCDS does not provide kosher certification. The kashrut of all food items is guaranteed only by the company/restaurant/host.
- Bi-Cultural Day School does not warrant the quality, value or the safety of any of the items or services offered for purchase at the auction. All items are sold in “as is” condition. Dollar values are estimated and provided by the donor and are not warranted by BCDS.
