Originally from Miami, David has been a swim coach for eight years. He has helped develop several JO qualifiers, Zone team members and a number of FGS age group record holders, several of which attainted individual titles. His swimmers have attained the USA Swimming National Top Ten ranking and have qualified for Junior and Senior Nationals. In addition, he served three terms as a member of the Florida Gold Coast Board of Directors and has been a Zone All Star Coach on multiple occasions.

Previously, as head age group coach with Pine Crest School, David’s swimmers set 35 new team records and brought home its first ever 14 & Under Junior Olympic Championship title. Prior to Pine Crest, he was head coach for Christopher Columbus High School where he developed multiple All-American and State Champions. As an athlete David swam for University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he helped bring home the first conference championship in the school’s history.
