Hazel Boutique 

Hazel Boutique opened in September of 2011 and is located at 7 Commercial Alley, just off Market Street in Downtown Portsmouth, NH. Owner Kerry LaJoie is a 2008 graduate of the University of New Hampshire and has always loved the seacoast area. After several years of traveling and living in Northern California, she decided to return to the East Coast and settled in Portsmouth.

Kerry’s mentor, Susan Hannah, has 30 years of experience in women’s retail clothing with a successful seasonal store Hannah in Wellfleet, Cape Cod, as well as stores in SoHo, NYC and other locations throughout New England and Florida. Kerry always thought that Portsmouth would be the ideal location for a shop, and in the summer of 2011 decided that she would continue the Hannah legacy with her own boutique. 

Hazel Boutique is the continuation of the Hannah tradition that brings together Susan’s tried and true eye with Kerry’s enthusiasm and fresh ideas. Their focus is on high quality fabrics and unique designs of women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories. With more than 30 designers, Hazel provides a unique new shopping experience in a quaint little alley location in downtown Portsmouth.
