Learn one of the most common languages in the United States. American Sign Language (ASL) is the language most embraced by the Deaf community. You can use ASL in many settings – in your job, in a school, and even in social situations. Classes focus on basic vocabulary, finger-spelling, and strategies with Deaf adults and children, incorporating facial expression into communication, Deaf culture, and basic grammatical structures. For adults ages 16 and up. Classes are held at The Children's Center for Communication and Beverly School for the Deaf (CCCBSD) campus in Beverly, Massachusetts.
