Kirsten Cowan, L.Ac, MATCM, and creator of Angelica & Peony started making facial serums a few years ago, when she couldn't find a simple moisturizer she liked - they were either full of chemicals, or they smelled rancid. By using superbly high quality oils, she developed a skin care product that her face loved and then modified the basic formula to create specialized serums for mature, combination, and inflamed and sensitive skin, as well as a blend for the bearded!

Inspired by Ayurvedic techniques, she also began infusing Chinese herbs like dang gui and bai shao into oils, and blending them with essential and medicinal oils, developing my healing massage oils and topical treatments.

She then will insert ultra-thin, single-use, disposable needles into points on the body that correlate with the pattern she observes. You will be able to rest with the needles for about 30 minutes.
