"Join this pair of talented, Godly men, who have created a book of Heavenly poems, paintings, and reflections to share their talents and their love for God. It is a must read for those who want to get in touch with God and nature.

Bob Hill started writing poetry in the 1960s, transforming his interpretation of religious sermons into rhyme and gospel songs. In 1999, he took a drawing class in a local department store and started painting in 2001. He has been a member of the Hershey Area Art Association since 2003. Bob and his wife, Marge, have one son and one daughter.

Johnny R. Almond, author of Gentle Whispers from Eternity, earned a doctor of ministry degree from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey and a diploma in Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge. He served the Air Force as a military chaplain. Since retiring from the military, he has served as a pastor and Kingdom Advance Ambassador for military ministries of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board. He posts weekly blogs on his website www.GentleWhispersFromEternity-ScripturePersonalized.com. Johnny and his wife, Beverly, have four sons and three grandsons and two granddaughters.

Bob eventually put his paintings and poems together and is thrilled to have Johnny Almond write the reflections contained in this book. Johnny Almond expressed his connection with Bob's work and said they motivated him to create these thoughtinspiring reflections. Now you, too, can join this pair and deepen your walk as you take time to reflect on God's awesomeness, as well."

"Bob Hill takes the thoughts of millions and puts them into words in a majestic way. It is a sweeping picture of Christianity, told in a way every Christian - and non-Christian, too, for that matter - should read. And heed. Don't pass this by!"

"Hill makes understanding our faith an easy and positive experience. At the same time he presents concepts of faith in real world simple language that offers many potential daily reminders about life and our relationship with many accepted religious beliefs. Memorable passages will keep a reader in touch with their faith, and with themselves. The illlustrations clearly reflect the feelings and intent of the poetry. There is something to find in these pages to make our daily life easier to understand."

"Love and devotion pour out of every page and painting, in this wonderful book. The simple four-stanza story "I Met a Man Today," is one I won't soon forget. So much impact in so few pages! This is a devotional to start a great day!"
