A native Parisian, Guy Buffet studied at the Beaux Arts de Toulon, as had Chagall, Matisse, Picasso and Toulouse Lautrec.
This framed lithograph measures 37 inches high by 32 inches wide and is signed by the artist. Ecole de Cuisine features a “Remarque”. A Remarque is a small, personalized drawing or symbol that an artist adds (near his or her signature) on a print. The presence of a Remarque increases the print's value and is primarily a “value-added” option for print collectors.
The lithograph is numbered 45 of 50 produced.
Ecole de Cuisine is has a silver frame with linen matting. There are two small scrapes at the bottom left and right of the frame. This is taken into account with the lower opening bid.
