“Grand Café” is an Artist’s Proof and is numbered 7/75.
Serigraphs or screen prints are produced by creating a stencil on thin fabric that is stretched across a frame. As opposed to lithography, serigraphs can have texture, and perhaps more of the feel of an original oil or acrylic painting.
Grand Café also has a “Remarque”. A Remarque is a small, personalized drawing or symbol that an artist adds (near his or her signature) on a print. The presence of a Remarque increases the print's value and is primarily a “value-added” option for print collectors.
Framed, Grand Cafe is 45 inches high by 39 inches wide. The intricate gold frame has a linen colored matting. A Certificate of Edition is included.
