Your visit for up to four includes:

- Lunch for four in the historic solarium in the Woodland Garden.

Get a glimpse behind the scenes as your tour will take you through the 24 acre York Street gardens, which includes plants from every corner of the world. Special emphasis will be placed on the rock garden, steppe garden, and water gardens.
Panayoti Kelaidis, Senior Curator & Director of Outreach, has worked at the Denver Botanic Gardens since 1980, in many capacities. Prior to which, he worked in research at Colorado State University. While living most of his life in the Front Range, he has explored plants on five continents and introduced several hundred to general cultivation. The cultivation of alpine plants in rock gardens and cold hardy succulents are among his specialties. He has spoken in 150 cities in 9 different countries, and received the Liberty Hyde Bailey award from the American Horticultural Society in 2009.
Special Instructions
- Best time to visit: Spring or early Summer (May 15-June 15 is peak bloom for the wildflower gardens), although the Gardens are stunning all Summer and Fall.
- Conditions/limitations for this item: Tour to be arranged at a mutually agreeable time subject to host’s availability by October 31, 2017.
