Think you’ve got the right stuff?  Put yourself and 9 of your toughest friends to the test with a genuine Police Academy Training Experience, held at the training center in Camarillo.  You will have a chance to go on a ride-along with a patrol officer, see up close and personal what a SWAT team does, and experience simulated firearms and driving training courses.

The Police Academy Training Experience offers a personal tour of the Police Academy with Police Chief Ken Corney and provides participants a hands on experience with two high-tech simulators which take participants into the virtual world of an officer’s job.  The Force Option Simulator Simulator provides real-life scenarios on a movie size screen and participants are given police belts with digitized equipment to react to each scenario.  Do you shoot or don’t you?  Do you use a Taser?  You will also get to experience the Law Enforcement Driving Simulator, which puts you in the driver’s seat to see how you would react behind the wheel in simulated law enforcement scenarios.
