Join us for the fourth summer of Brain Works! Brain Works at Cathedral School for Boys is a co-educational summer program focused on enriching, engaging, and inspiring students via a variety of academically-minded classes and workshops.
We will be joined again by Code NinjaZ and explore block-based coding (Scratch, Code.org). Code NinjaZ takes programming to the next level by teaching CSB students computational thinking, technical troubleshooting, and front end web developing in the languages of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Other classes offered at Brain Works include cooking, simple machines, garden artists, robotics, and soccer.
Designed for girls and boys entering first through eighth grade, Brain Works will take place from June 13 to June 29 (week days only). The day is divided into a morning and afternoon session. Students may attend either the morning session only (2 classes), or a full-day of classes (3 classes). The morning session will take place from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the full day runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The final day of the program is a half-day and consists of an exposition where students will share their hard work and projects with attendees.
