About the author: Eleanor Burke is a retired English teacher. She has previously published two other sketchbooks: Saigon, and Sketching San Francisco’s Neighborhoods. She lives on Russian Hill in San Francisco with her husband Bernie. They have three grown children, a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law, four grandchildren and a godson. She is a lifelong San Franciscan.
