This latest show from local playwright, Patricia Milton, centers on a family with more than a few problems! A disappearance, alcoholism, rehab, plus resentment between Joanna and her daughter Bethany.

The show is at the very intimate Phoenix Theatre on Mason St. in the heart of the theatre district, and stars our very own CSB parent, Niki Held (mom of Nicholas and Philip, 1st and 4th). 

One of Milton’s great skills as a writer is the judicious parceling out of information. Her plays often begin in the heat of a long-simmering exchange, and as dialogue unfurls, exposition creeps in subtly. All of a sudden, you know characters’ backstories without being able to trace exactly how.

Richard D. Harder directs this Off Broadway West production about an intriguing mystery and a complex mother-daughter relationship.
