Umani Ronchi was founded in 1957 by Gino Umani Ronchi, and was later acquired by Massimo Bernetti. The highly respected Beppe Caviola is their consulting enologist. They have over 400 acres of vineyards in the La Marche area, along the Eastern Coast of Italy and extensive holdings in nearby Abruzzo. They produce great wines, and are known as the Ambassador of La Marche. Here we have 100% estate Verdicchio that is kept in stainless steel. Bright gold in color, with a touch of green. Fresh, ripe, crisp and full. Tropical. Almonds. Lemons. Floral. Mouthwatering. Refreshing. Complex. Long lingering finish and aftertaste. A delicious wine.
