Eligible student will receive one two-week, half-day session of Reading and Writing Classes at St. Albans Summer Programs.

This program combines reading and writing, focusing on clear and creative composition, as well as enhancement of reading and vocabulary skills. Students work in small groups based on grade and/or ability, with time to pursue independent reading and writing interests.

The course is offered in three separate two-week modules. Each module will focus on grammar, writing skills, and creative writing. Each module will stand-alone, but students who take multiple modules will continue with their work from previous modules. All modules will include a novel, daily journal writing, reading comprehension exercises, and vocabulary improvement.
