From web applications to e-commerce to scientific research, relational databases are one of the most popular formats for data storage and retrieval. SQL is a special-purpose programming language designed for managing data held in a relational database management system (RDBMS). Professionals working with datasets and databases should have a working knowledge of SQL. This course will introduce you to relational databases and teach you how to use MySQL, one type of RDBMS.
