The Urban Ecology Center provides outdoor science education for urban youth; protects and activates public natural areas, making them safe, accessible and vibrant; preserves and enhances these natural areas and their surrounding waters; promotes community by offering resources that support learning, volunteerism, stewardship, recreation and camaraderie; and practices and models environmentally responsible behaviors for the community.
