Pancakes and Paddling on the Red River for up to 10!

Item Number: 225
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
A fun-filled day trip you won't forget!
For up to 10 people, and great for families, retired science teacher Charlie Frisk is your chef and you guide. Before launching, fill up with a sourdough pancake breakfast with all the trimmings. Then hop into your canoes (all boats and paddles are provided!) and head down the Red River near Shawno, WI. Known for its exceptional swimming holes, most groups tend to spend as much time swimming as paddling, however, the Red River also offers Class I and II rapids, as well as Class IV (Novitiate Falls and Ziemers Rapids) which can easily be portaged around.
The sourdough pancakes will be made from sourdough starter from the Hampton Sheep and Cattle Ranch located outside of Ten Sleep, Wyoming. The starter has been kept alive since 1926. The pancakes will be served with real Wisconsin maple syrup and wieners and bacon from local butchers.
Special Instructions
It is suggested that participants bring their own PFDs (life jackets).
Winning bidder will coordinate with Charlie to pick a date for the trip.
