Adult Intro For Rowing for One.
Introductory class in the sport of rowing. The three week, six class session on the Charles River teaches the basics of rowing. Students will learn water safety and boat handling as well as the basics of rowing sweep.
Intro to Rowing is their basic introductory class that will get you on the Charles and learning the basics in no time. Classes are taught in the 12 person barge allowing participants the opportunity to learn rowing terminology and technique. Each rower controls one oar and the boat is steered by a coxswain, who will be a rower from the class.
Rowing is not only a sport that uses all of your major muscle groups and, therefore, great for your personal health and fitness, but it is also a sport for life.
Community Rowing Inc. (CRI) is dedicated to fostering a community that is both welcoming and supportive.
