This lovely piece entitled "Flowers by the Fence" by Doug Johnson was made by weaving together glass beads of different color to create an image. In this case the image is of a white fence covered in lovely pink flowers overlooking a bed of sparkling blue water with a sailboat. The beadwork is incredibly intricate and full of subtle details that give the piece a wonderfully realistic quality. The beadwork is matted against a cream background and comes with a lovely cherry wood frame. There is some damage to the matting however it is barely noticeable. This piece is the absolute perfect addition to any home!
