Casa di Gasperi is a 12th Century, completely restored villa in the medieval town of Altomonte. Nestled beneath the Pollino mountains, Altomonte is the ideal vacation place. Altomonte offers an abundance of activities for you and your guests to choose from including wine tasting, cooking classes, cultural tours, hiking or just simply relaxing at the pool, spa, or nearby beaches. Casa di Gasperi is structured on 3 levels topped by a magnificent terrace overlooking the town. The Villa itself consists of 24 rooms. There are 8 bedrooms each with an accompanying bath and shower. There are 2 large family kitchens complete with all necessary dining necessities. If desired, a full time Chef is available for breakfast, lunch or dinners. Additionally, there are 2 dining areas accomodating 16 people and 8 people respectively, 3 TV/ Reading/ Library rooms, a lounge, and Wine cellar. Notably each room is uniquely decorated in its own theme with artifacts and art from around the world. The Villa itself is located in the Centro Storico and within easy walking distance to the museums, churches, Trattorias, restaurants and cultural sites. Altomonte itself is located 40 Km North of Cosenza, and is midway between the Tyherranian and Ionian Seas, each 45Km away by car. It is suggested that you rent a car from the local airport, Lamezie Terme , an hour and a half south of Altomonte.
