ComedySportz is the longest running short-form improv show in Chicago. Now in our 25th year! It's not stand-up comedy about sports...it's improv comedy played as a sport! 

The long-running main stage show, ComedySportz, offers a unique blend of fast and funny improv comedy that is appropriate for all ages. Two teams of improvisers play short-form improv games in front of a referee and the audience votes for the team that makes them laugh harder. You, the audience, crown the eventual winner! The eternal battle of the blue team vs. the red team is completely improvised 6 times every weekend and is never the same twice!

It's ComedySportz^®, improvisational comedy played as a sport in many cities nationwide, and in the UK, by members of the World Comedy League. We¿ve been bringing the funny since 1984.

Two teams battle for laughs and points as they make up scenes, games and songs on the spot. The audience votes for the winners, a referee calls the fouls and we even play the national anthem before each match.
