We offer a selection of public and private classes with our Coffee Educators in our Brooklyn and West Village Cupping Labs.
Classes are designed to teach everyone, from the coffee novice to the experienced home barista, the elements of brewing great coffee.
Home Brew Methods
Why We Love It
One of our four educators will lead you this 60 minute private class that is designed for students of all levels.
As the name suggests, this is the perfect class for a home brewer. During this one hour class, you will learn the basic elements of brewing through a survey of up to three methods, among them V60, Chemex, Espro Press, and Aeropress. Participants will master the techniques of the ideal brew: proper grind, coffee ratio, pour techniques, and more. This class will employ a Toby’s Estate Coffee single origin coffee to demonstrate proper extraction and taste profiling.
