"The outdoor camp, with a downtown feel"

New Country Day Camp, a program of the 14th Street Y, is a fun-filled, inclusive, completely outdoor experience for campers entering grades K-8.  Throughout the summer, campers explore nature, aquatics, arts, athletics and new ideas through cultural Jewish story-telling.  Professional staff empowers campers to explore in a nurturing, kid-charged environment. 

At camp, city kids experience independence as they progress and gain skills in different areas like swimming, sports and the arts.  Every week, campers choose a program unit in which to specialize.  Campers are supported in making educated decisions about where to focus their time.  At New Country Day Camp, campers become confident, independent young poeple.
