Born and raised in Louisiana, John spent much of his upbringing devouring the sinfully good food New Orleans is renowned for.  With Lowerline, John will be focused on providing deeply authentic, homestyle Cajun and Creole cuisine, utilizing local and sustainable ingredients wherever possible. The menu will emphasize traditional, rustic dishes executed from scratch with no shortcuts, along with poor boys and oysters on the half shell.  Lowerline will also offer New Orleans-inspired cocktails, a selection of craft beers and an all-natural wine list.
