Zanne grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she attended Louisiana State University and received her Bachelor's in English Literature. Since then she has moved across the country, practicing various art forms along the way, always trying to push the boundaries and see things in a new way. Her background lies heavily in textiles, which is seen in her mixed media work including fabrics and threads. She currently practices at Brooklyn Art Space, where she is a member of the Residency program.  Zanne lives in the lovely Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn with her husband Jason and their three kiddos, Hero, Zinnia, and Aeson, from whom she draws much inspiration and creativity.
