Do you love to read or are you looking for an engaging book for you or your teen? This year’s Book Brunch, offered by a combined group of Hillsborough parents and Sally James the librarian at South School, will provide you with a variety of outstanding new books for summer reading for your entire family. The Book Brunch will be held at a home in Hillsborough and will begin with a delicious brunch prepared by the committee members. Following brunch, committee members will take turns sharing short summaries of some of their favorite books. Participants will have the opportunity to select several brand new books from the previewed books for their summer reading. In addition, committee members will create a comprehensive summary of all the books previews for participants so they will have a year’s worth of reading suggestions! Each attendee will also go home with a list of the recipes from brunch as well as a few party favors from readers. The Book Brunch will be held on Saturday, June 3rd from 11:30 am to 2:00pm.
