Description
Did you know that as many as 93% of car seats are installed or used incorrectly? I'll meet you at a mutually convenient time and place to teach you to install and use your seat properly. You will leave feeling confident in your ability to properly use your child's safety seat each time you go for a drive. You'll also be aware of how and when to make changes to your seat, and where to go for additional assistance should the need ever arise.
Alternatively, I will meet with you at a local retailer of your choice to help you select the best seat for your specific child based on their age and size, the other passengers in the vehicle and your budget. Since car seats are not one-size-fits-all, we'll review each of your best options in detail so that you're confident that your selection will work well for your needs.
Service appointment must be scheduled in either downtown Manhattan or downtown Brooklyn. Purchaser must provide the car if education on installation is desired. Gift certificate expires after one year.

The National Child Passenger Safety Certification Training Program (CPS certification program) certifies people as child passenger safety technicians and instructors. Since the CPS certification program began in 1997, with the first courses offered in 1998, more than 148,000 people have successfully completed the CPS Certification Course, including more than 39,000 currently certified CPS technicians. Many technicians are trained health and safety professionals, others are parents, and some are volunteers. They all have one thing in common: they care deeply about kids and want to make sure they’re safe.
CPS technicians and instructors put their knowledge to work by conducting child safety seat checks, where parents and caregivers receive hands-on assistance for proper use of child restraint systems and safety belts. These dedicated technicians offer education, support and guidance in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.
The U.S. CPS certification program is widely considered to be the gold standard across the globe. Recent Certification courses have been offered in Canada, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
