Description
Shane Record is a well-known, self taught artist and has run his gallery in Folkestone, United Kingdom, since 2005. He paints predominantly in oils with a palette knife but will often switch to other mediums, and undertakes a wide range of commissions. Record's key priority is to communicate atmosphere and emotion through his work. Prints and paintings can be shipped worldwide.
In 2014, Shane won a national selection process and was commissioned by England Rugby to paint the entire 1914 England Rugby team to commemorate the players that went on to die in the First World War. The painting (300cm x 270cm) hangs permanently next to the Royal Box in Twickenham Stadium.
