Dallas Blooms, a Dallas Arboretum floral festival, features more than 500,000 spring-blooming bulbs, runs through April 6. So, what can you can expect to see during Blooms? Brilliantly colored tulips, daffodils, pansies, violas and more will dot the landscape.

There’ll be an exhibit of birdhouse-themed playhouses to explore and peacock topiaries to admire. Keep little ones busy with special children’s activities each Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (face painting, a petting zoo and nature art will all add to the fun).
