Enter the world of percussion through this unique musical opportunity. Join Paul Revere parent and musician, Juan, while he instructs either a small group or a lucky individual through a private session. Drums and percussive instruments provided.

90 Minute Session

The Afro-Peruvian percussion class with Juan de Dios Soto includes learning basic and intermediate rhythms on the Cajon drum and minor percussive instruments. Through use of the Cajon, percussive rhythms, songs and choreography are taught allowing students to begin to embrace the music of Afro-Peru. Students have the opportunity to learn a variety of Afro-Peruvian genres, including Festejo, Lando and Zamacueca.
