The Nature Place Day Camp offers a magical summer experience for children aged 4-16 on a 200 acre campus of farmland, gardens, trails, woods, fields, streams, ponds, and swamps in Chestnut Ridge, NY.  

Campers enjoy a nature-oriented, non-competitive summer of fun, wonder, outdoor skills development and personal growth in the care of a supportive, well-trained staff.  In addition to daily swimming/swim instruction at the camp's adjacent outdoor pool (Threefold Pond), typical day schedules may include:

• regular daily routines with exotic animal experiences, nature explorations, outdoor crafts, gardening, singalongs and day hikes for the youngest campers aged 4-7;


• archery, tree climbing, farming, hikes and overnights for middle campers aged 8-11 


• canoeing, rock climbing, backpacking and multi-day camping trips for older campers aged 12-16

Winning bidder will receive an extra consecutive week of camp added on to at least one other paid week of camp during the 2017 season, which runs from July 3 through August 11.  Bus transportation from Rockland, Bergen, Westchester or NYC is NOT included in this package, though it is available at extra cost.

Camp hours are 9am-4pm, though early drop off (7:30am) and/or after care (until 5:30pm) are available at extra cost.
