Waldorf Weekend Workshop with Anna Silber

Item Number: 142

Description
Ever wish you could rewind time and experience Waldorf education through the eyes of a child? The bi-annual Waldorf Weekends hosted by the Sunbridge Institute offer that opportunity.
Every January and July, Sunbridge's Director of Education hosts a memorable and fun Waldorf Weekend in Chestnut Ridge, NY, for anyone interested in learning more about the Foundations and Fundamentals of Waldorf Education. These sell-out workshops provide:
- an in-depth and experiential survey of the Waldorf curriculum and how it relates to the growing child
- an exploration of the anthroposophical ideas that serve as the underpinnings of the Waldorf impulse
- a look at Rudolf Steiner’s insights into human development
- hands-on artistic activities common to the Waldorf experience, including drawing, eurythmy and song
- opportunities to ask your most pressing questions
- a deeper understanding of and appreciation for Waldorf Education
The weekend typically includes programming on Friday night and all day Saturday. Meals and snacks are included.
Workshops are open to the public, but may be especially appreciated by new and prospective Waldorf community members, including teachers, parents, grandparents, staff, and board members. Past attendees have also included students of education, public and private school teachers, and homeschooling parents.
