Charming waterfront beach cottage in Lords Point, a terrific shoreline neighborhood in Stonington, Connecticut with several small beaches. The house sleeps seven people (3 bedrooms + living room day bed) and is a short walk to beaches and the Lords Point Association community center offering tennis, basketball, playground, bocci, and soccer.
The house is located 133 miles from Green Meadow.
House is conveniently situated near many Southeast Connecticut and Rhode Island area attractions:
- Mystic Aquarium (4.5 miles)
- Mystic Seaport (3 miles)
- Downtown Mystic (3 miles)
- Stonington Borough (3 miles)
- New London, CT ferries to North Fork, Long Island, Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard for day trips and Cross Sound Ferry excursions (14 miles)
- Rhode Island Beaches: Watch Hill/Napatree (12 miles); Misquamicut State Beach (12 miles); Charlestown/East Beach (16.5 miles); Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge (17 miles);
- Local vineyards: Stonington Vineyards (6.5 miles); Jonathan Edwards Winery (12 miles)
- Casinos: Foxwoods (16 miles); Mohegan Sun (24 miles)
Main floor includes: kitchen; open floor plan family/dining room. Separate den on main floor with TV and many board games.
The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster oven as well as pots, pans, cutlery, and dishes.
Large stone patio off first floor with gas grill and patio dining set. Shed with beach chairs and boogie boards.
Note: the house is not air conditioned, but the onshore breezes keep the house cool in the summer. We have several window air conditioners for use in the bedrooms if needed.
Master Bedroom: 1 queen with en suite bath
Bedroom 2: queen size bed
Bedroom 3: double size bed
Note: living room on first floor include a twin size daybed.
3 Full Bathrooms:
Full bathroom off the main floor den with tub/shower.
Master bedroom has a full bathroom with tub/shower.
Second floor has an additional bathroom with small shower stall.
