This needle felted lion has over 60 hours of compassionate work behind its creation, with the majority of its work having been conducted with a single needle in repetitive meditative motion and conscious presence. 

 

This lion features a copper armature, supported by pipe cleaners, and is wrapped in a dense core of organic local wool, provided by the GMWS farm kindergarten.

 

Its outer pelt utilizes plant-dyed, organic wool from the Fiber Craft Studio (excluding a portion of the underside).

 

Its dimensions are 22" from nose-tail and 8.5" from paw-top of the head.

 

This lion can be gently positioned. 

 

Intended for gentle embrace and to provide a warm, loving, and protective presence in a room. Ideal for children, Waldorf environments, and therapeutic spaces.
