"Ride into history" with this 2-hour horseback tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield with a licensed Battlefield Guide, compliments of the National Riding Stables.  

Their most popular tour, this two-hour ride across the battlefield will take you from the Union lines to the crest of the field of Pickett’s Charge on the Confederate lines.  Along the way, your Licensed Battlefield Guide will explain the flow of the battle (why the Generals did what they did, and what it meant to the soldiers), as you cross the Union defensive lines and through the fields where the Union and Confederate armies struggled on July 2nd and 3rd.  You will pass famous landmarks including Little Round Top, the Wheatfield, the Peach Orchard, the Confederate lines of attack, and the field of Pickett’s Charge.

The 2-hour Historic Tour operates daily from March through November (weather permitting).
