Description

Imagine experiencing, relaxing and seeing your BJ community welcome and be in Shabbat together with song and dance and dvar Torah from the Rabbis, and celebration and prayer all while knowing your kids are being taken very good care of.

Enjoy one of each BJ Shabbat services... Friday night, Shabbat morning.... while I enjoy and take care of your child(ren). Bring your child(ren) to shul and I will welcome you, get you settled and then take your child(ren) to enjoy the service as a child while you enjoy as an adult.*

CYNTHIA EPSTEIN will be in the same room or building providing Shabbat and kid-friendly alternatives of prayer to your child(ren)... some that they will take home.... as you begin to feel what made BJ services the mythical magical urban legend that they are and yearn to and feel comfortable to come again and again as you are going to have to anyway since your children will want to after spending the service with me.

Want to know more about me Cynthia? Come to services. "I am the one in the front praying until (that) the kids come, or I just go get the kids for Torah, serving Kiddush with the kids, or reading books, playing games, puzzles, and oh yes, stickers; and on special occasions, I will go collect the candy with/for the kids. Among other fun kid-sitting gigs, I have taken care of my friends 7 children for 3 nights and 4 days while they were away at conferences on different sides of the country. During a school week. Really. I have an American Red Cross certificate in Pediatric and Adult First Aid, CPR and AED just because. And also a MA from Teachers College followed by years of work in student activities and residential life with students of all ages. And I only carry picture bandages because that always stops the tears."

*For one family (BJ members only). Pretty open to which Shabbat you want to come, and do not have to use offer in one Shabbat. Friday night choose a special service or the main sanctuary, and cannot conflict with a Family Life program. Shabbat morning choose to either have your children stay in the main sanctuary near you or I will take them to the Family Life program and then we will meet up for Kiddush.
