Brooklyn Game Lab is an unplugged board game and design day-camp. Every day campers interact with other kids indoors and out -- while they play new and classic strategy games, and then work together to design even better games! Experienced counselors and professional game designers lead design sessions, encouraging kids to present ideas to their groups. Campers also earn merits as they develop skills like negotiating, problem solving, and diplomacy, and earn their way into our amazing, original, mega-game, Immortal Wars. We also play games like Dungeons and Dragons, and our unique Battle Lab Live Action Role Playing program where warriors and rogues use foam swords and run around in the park!
