1 Bottle 2013 Cliff Lede Cabernet, Stags Leap District
The 2013 Claret from Cliff Lede in the Stag Leaps District of Napa Valley is "so full of youthful exuberance, that it's a joy to drink now. Intense aromas of black fig, chocolate covered cherries, and silky cassis."
1 Bottle 2013 FEL Pinot Noir, Savoy Vineyard
From Fel Vinyards in Anderson Valley, this 2013 Pinot Noir has an "intriguing blend of black tea, cedar, and sage all wrapped around an intense core of black cherry. As the wine develops in the glass, hints of blackberry, plum, and caraway begin to unfold. Savoy Pinot Noir is always a mouth filling wine with great depth and texture, and in 2013 the flavors were exceptionally intense."
1 Bottle 2014 FEL Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley
Crafted by Winemaker Ryan Hodgins, this FEL 2014 Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley has "sweet notes of black cherry, pomegranate, boysenberry, and truffle. Hints of cinnamon, caraway, and toast are reflective of both Anderson Valley’s spice driven terroir, and the extended aging in French oak barrels. In the mouth, the wine is loaded with rich flavors of dark fruit, cocoa, and spice. The palate is refined with pleasant acidity and elegant tannins that continue to unfold after the last sip. This is a generous wine that will continue to evolve and drink well for at least half a decade."
1 Bottle 2014 Cliff Lede Claret, Napa Valley
The 2014 Claret from Cliff Lede in the Stag Leaps District of Napa Valley is "complex and inviting, the dark ruby colored wine dazzles the senses with explosive aromas of warm black fig, cassis, and dark melted chocolate."
