Description

Spending years growing at DeSales High School, this oak tree was taken down during the stadium expansion.  Now its memory lives on in this beautifully turned bowl on a wood lathe by DeSales alumni Bob Reilly, class of 1978.  The wood is from one of the branches and the coloration in the wood is from the different densities of wood that naturally occurs from the sugars in the tree that rise to nourish the leaves.   The bowl is finished with a microcrystalline wax and walnut oil mixture and is food safe.  Can also be used on your hall table or countertop to hold your keys or spare change, or any use you may have.  Dimensions are 7.5W"x2"Hx1.5"D

This Live Event Item offers Absentee Bidding.
