Description

Vintage Advertising Medicine Dose Glass

Vintage Advertising Medicine Dose Glass from McGinity's Reliable Pharmacy, formerly at Ellwood and Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland.  This glass is tumbler shaped and appears to have an applied color label on one side and the dose measures on the other.  This cup handles dosage up to two tablespoons.

Glass measures approximately 2 1/4" high, 1 1/4" in diameter at the bottom and 1 3/4" in diameter at the top.

The age is unknown but the family-owned pharmacy has been closed for many years.

Vintage Green Glass Prescription Dropper Bottle with Box

Vintage Green Glass Prescription Dropper Bottle with Original Box.  Approximately 3 1/2" high.  The bottle shape is unusual - see pictures.

The bottom of the box says "DESIGN COPYRIGHTED BY P.G.P.CO. 1934   MADE IN U. S. A."  The writing on the side of the box says "THIS PACKAGE CONTAINS YOUR PRESCRIPTION PUT UP IN THE PATENTED NEW PERFECTION DROPPER STOPPER BOTTLE WITH THE PERFECTION SAFTEE BALL POINT AND THE LEAK PROOF TOP."  There are also markings on the bottom of the bottle that can be seen in the pictures.

The bottle is in excellent condition.  The box is missing the flap that closes the box.
