As a young rider, she worked and trained with Yolanda Mazzirrissi in her New Jersey “Wit’s End Farm”. After returning to Virginia, she became a working student with Danielle Geoffrion where she continued her study of Dressage. Michelle has since continued her training with Anders Lingren, Walter Zettle, Margo McAllister, Lars Peterson and Mary Flood. Michelle has trained to Prix St. Georges and has shown through 4th Level. Michelle earned her USDF Bronze Medal and continues to work on her USDF Silver. Michelle brings a broad knowledge base to her students and has a true love for all horses. She has a unique ability to see the strengths in any horse, at any training level, and any breed. Always upbeat and positive, her students range from Young Riders through Adult Seniors. Her personal experience and work with Wendy Murdoch also allow her to develop solutions for physically challenged riders. Currently she runs a small training barn in Amissville, Virginia. Michelle also continues to ride, train, and show for Pam Thomson, whose Morgan, LLL Trotsky is showing 3rd level and performing 4th level work.
