Carmelo Piazza, known to the preschool set as “Carmelo the Science Fellow”, is a "rock star" to Brooklyn’s pint-sized Einstein's.  Rocks, as in gemstones and stalagmites — the ones they study in their Geology program.

In 2005, Carmelo opened his “out-of-this-world” lair, the Cosmic Cove, in Brooklyn.  He’s taught and entertained thousands of kids there over the last ten years.  It’s his home away from home and the headquarters for his large collection of creatures including Blue tongue skinks, Crested Geckos, Bearded Dragons, King Snakes, and Madagascar Roaches.
